The hiking area around the Eggalm offers various tours and routes in all directions and for every level of difficulty. Whether summit tours, family hikes or routes with culinary delights - everything is included here!

Easy hikes

Alpine Rose Tour

Family hike

This leisurely round hike is a real pleasure during the alpine rose season. The path is lined with vibrant fauna and can be mastered with no problem by even our littlest hikers, by virtue of its shallow incline.

Intermediate hikes

Grüblspitz - Torseen

The hike starts with an easy ride up the mountain with the Eggalmbahn from Tux-Lanersbach. From there, the well-marked trail no. 35 leads to the summit cross of Grübelspitze (2,395 m). To reach the highest point of this hiking trip, you need to conquer an additional altitude of 170 metres. The narrow trail no. 45 dips briefly before asceending somewhat more steeply up to Ramsjoch (2,508 m) via several hairpin bends. From the Torsee (2,258 m) you take trail no. 321 which leads you up to the Ramsangeralm (1,685) via the Nasse Tuxalm (1,483 m) and then joins the Pfisterwaldweg on it's way back to Tux-Lanersbach.

Waldhoarspitze - Grüblspitze

First, drive to the top of the mountain (1,950 m) with the Eggalmbahnen in Tux/Lanersbach. Follow the path nr. 35 to the summit cross of the Grübelspitze. There you'll see a beautiful panorama and not only beautiful but also good-smelling meadows. Over the slight beaten steep bath nr. 37 you'll walk from the Waldhoarspitz over to the Waldhoaralm. A wonderful view over the Tuxertal! Then turn to the path nr. 33 to Brandalm and from there - over the way nr. 23 - the descent and after on way nr. 21 back to Tux/Lanersbach.

Eggalm - Lattenalm - Gemais - Tux-Lanersbach

Proceed past the top station of the Eggalmbahn, follow path no. 35 up to the Grüblspitze and thence to the Zilljöchl, finally left descending to Stoankasern via path no. 35. Carry on down to the valley on the goods track (AV path no. 322) leading to Juns or Tux-Lanersbach.

Eggalm - Waldhoaralm - Brandalm - Tux-Lanersbach

Turn off to the right at the top station of the cable car and follow path no. 33 down the valley, which leads you, after a big right bend, below the Latten lift and then down to the Lattenalm. Now on down through the wood until path no. 33 joins up with the goods track. Turn off to the right and make your way via Gemais back to Tux-Lanersbach. Alternative you can descent to Tux-Vorderlanersbach too.

Adlerweg - Etappe 73: Lizumer Hütte - Tux-Lanersbach

Make your way past the top station of the Eggalmbahn, after 200 m turn off to the right, following path no. 33 up the valley via a good mountain route to the Waldhoaralm and then to Brandalm. From Brandalm the descent takes you down on path no. 23 and then on path no. 21 to Tux-Lanersbach.

Eggalm - Grüblspitze - Stoankasern - Tux-Lanersbach

Ascend from the Lizumer Hütte in an eastern direction to Torjoch (2,386 m), which is the highest spot of this hiking tour. From the Torjoch you descend on green fields to the junction to "Nasse Tux" respectively to the path no. 321 direction Lanersbach. After the Torsee continue on a trail to Nasse Tux Alm and finally descend on a track which is leading thorough meadows and forests to Lanersbach.

Expert hikes

Wattener Lizum über die Tuxer Jöcher

Ascent with the Eggalm Bahn and from there further over the Grüblspitze, Ramsjoch, Torseen and Torjoch, descent to the Lizumer Hütte. Ascent on the AV path no. 322 to the Junsjoch, descent to "Stoankasern" and back to Tux-Lanersbach via paths no. 33 and no. 21. Attention! The Lizumer Hütte area is a military training area and is therefore temporarily closed to tourists. Dates are known in the tourist office Tux-Finkenberg.
