Regular guest week 2024

The Regular Guest Week has been a fixture in Tux-Finkenberg for decades and has developed into a very special event over the years. For a whole week, dear regular guests and dedicated hosts celebrate their long-standing and decades-long friendship.
The Regular Guest Week is an expression of the friendship between guests and hosts and therefore a valuable asset that we cherish and nurture.

Programme:

Sunday, June 30th:

  • Official opening ceremony of the anniversary Regular Guest Week on the village square in Tux-Lanersbach. A hearty morning pint, good humour, fun and a musical atmosphere are guaranteed. Of course, culinary delights from the region are also provided.
  • Experience acrobats, dancers and musicians populating the streets and squares of Tux-Lanersbach. The colourful hustle and bustle invites you to watch and join in.

Monday, July 1st:

  • With delicacies and live music, the Tuxertal invites its regular guests to a summer retreat on the mountain pasture. After a free ride on the Eggalm cable car, mountain lovers can look forward to culinary delights and musical treats at the huts. Of course, you can also reach the huts by e-bike or after a hike.
  • Take a look behind the scenes at the new operations centre of the voluntary fire brigade and Red Cross in Tux-Vorderlanersbach or learn all about modern timber construction at Holzbau Erler.

Tuesday, July 2nd:

  • Take a look behind the scenes at the Hintertux Glacier and learn interesting facts about all the technical masterpieces that have contributed to the development of the glacier.
  • Discover the world of eternal ice, the Nature`s Ice Palace, and the only marble cave in the Central Alps, the Spannagel Cave.
  • In Finkenberg there is the Schmankerlfest at the new music pavilion. Specialities such as salty Zillertal doughnuts, Melchermuas, cheese dumplings, roast pork, Zillertal oven-baked liver and much more are served at the stands.
  • This festival is also the festive setting for the large regular guest ceremony, with which the tourism region thanks its long-standing and loyal guests.

Wednesday, July 3rd:

  • Enjoy the star hike to the Penkenjoch from various starting points in the valley. The destination is the Granat Chapel, where a mountain devotion is celebrated. Afterwards, a festival with lots of music, entertainment and culinary delights awaits hikers of all ages on the mountain.
  • The Volksbühne Tux invites you to the premiere of their new play "Der Meisterboxer" in the Tux Centre in Tux-Lanersbach. There won't be a dry eye in the house during this comedy and of course there will be plenty of laughter.

Thursday, July 4th:

  • Visit to the dam wall of the Schlegeis reservoir, where you can learn lots of interesting facts about power generation in the Alps.
  • On this day, you will also have the opportunity to visit the "Hidden Treasures" exhibition in the Nature Park House in Ginzling. Join us on a unique journey through the geological history of the Zillertal Alps and admire the sparkling crystal treasures that have been formed over millions of years inside the mountains.
  • The Bundesmusikkapelle Finkenberg celebrates its centenary in 2024 and gives a big gala concert as part of the 10th Regular Guest Week. A varied and entertaining programme awaits all music lovers.
  • In the Tux Centre, the ambassadors of Tux-Finkenberg are honoured at the regular guest awards ceremony.
  • After the great success of previous editions, the third edition of the Tux-Finkenberg regular guest golf tournament will take place at the Uderns golf course in the Zillertal.

Friday, July 5th:

  • The many regular guests and their hosts celebrate the end of an unforgettable week together in the splendidly decorated marquee. An evening with an outstanding gourmet menu, great show acts, varied music and many, many wonderful moments.

Sat. July 6th and Sun. July 7th:

  • There is still a lot to experience in the holiday home of Tux-Finkenberg. We wish all those travelling home a safe journey and look forward to seeing you again in good health.
