Information
- The hike starts at the Finkenberg mid-station and takes about 1 hour along a forest trail to the Gschösswandhaus (3 km, 100 m elevation gain).
- The return trip is on your own. (See tip: Penkenjoch Rundwander Weg)
- Sturdy hiking shoes are required.

Rundwander Weg
Take the Finkenberger Almbahnen up to the middle station (1,750 m). From there, follow the Mystical BergWaldWeg trail for about 1.5hrs (4.7km) toward the Penken Kombibahn valley station. Take this cable car up to 1,994 m. The hike then continues along the Penken Panorama RundWeg trail for about 30 minutes to the Penkenjoch at 2,095 m. Passing the reservoir and the Capella Granata, you’ll finally take the Finkenberger Almbahnen back down to the valley!
