End: Penkenbahn top station (1,790 m)

The legendary BergWaldWeg can also be hiked in the opposite direction (Penken > Finkenberg). Additionally, the tour can be extended to the Penkenjoch Rundwander Weg by taking the Kombibahn Penken.

Rundwander Weg

Take the Finkenberger Almbahnen up to the middle station (1,750 m). From there, follow the Mystical BergWaldWeg trail for about 1.5hrs (4.7km) toward the Penken Kombibahn valley station. Take this cable car up to 1,994 m. The hike then continues along the Penken Panorama RundWeg trail for about 30 minutes to the Penkenjoch at 2,095 m. Passing the reservoir and the Capella Granata, you’ll finally take the Finkenberger Almbahnen back down to the valley!
