How do you get up to the Eggalm?
To reach the Eggalm and Almspielerei, only one cable car is required.
From the valley station in Lanersbach, take the Eggalmbahn (4-person gondola) up to 2,000m. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
Can I take my bicycle in the gondola?
Yes, you can take your bike with you on the Eggalmbahn. As there is no space for bikes inside the 4-person gondolas, your bike will be transported outside the gondola. The Eggalmbahn staff will be happy to assist you.
May I bring my dog into the gondola?
Dogs are welcome in all our cable cars. They must be kept on a leash.
What parking options are available for the Eggalm Bahn?
At the Eggalm Bahnen, there are free outdoor parking spaces right at the valley station.
Additional parking is available at the Tux-Center next door. There is also a multi-storey car park at the Tux-Center – for a fee.
