- Drinks: Every adult can choose between a bottle of Zillertal Beer, Zillertal Radler or Midis Lemonade and children can choose between ice tea peach and cocoa. Of course there is a Glacier-Schnaps for every adult in the backpack too.
Two special places for your Picnic Deluxe
On the Sommerberg, two particularly beautiful places have been set up for your picnic (wooden platforms). The ideal place for your picnic.
- Place No. 1: At the highest point of the Glacier Bug Safari there is the first place after a curve. Directly opposite there is a small pond and a wooden bench.
- Place No. 2: In the middle of the Glacier Bug Safari at the “Gletscherwasser” station
The spots are first come, first served.

What you

- The offer can be booked between mid of june and mid of october 2024
- Prices (without gondola ticket):
2 adults: € 53,00 -
3 adults: € 79,50 -
2 adults + 1 kid: € 66,50 -
2 adults + 2 kids: € 80,00 - - The Glacier-Picnic-Backpack can be picked up at the Sommerberg restaurant (2.100 m) between 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m..
- You need to bring 100,-- Euros in cash as a security deposit for the backpack. You will get your money back when the backpack is returned.
- IMPORTANT: The backpack as well as the gear remain our property and have to be returned on the same day.
- In order for you to stay flexible you have 2 options to return the Glacier-Picnic-Backpack. You can return it at the Sommerberg restaurant where you picked it up until 4.00 p.m. or until 4.45 p.m. at the box office in valley station.
Secure
and deferential
- Food and beverages in the backpack are cooled
- We care for the environment. Therefore we use reuseable containers, washable napkins, etc.
- Please do put all garbage back in the backpack. We will happily dispose it correctly.
- We please you to respect all wildlive on the mountain. Choose your picknick-spot carefully and away from grasing animals, especially cows.
