'The „Glacier-Picnic-Backpack“ contains the right gear:
- Picnic blanket, tablecloth and seat cushions
- Snack board and pocket knife
- Hiking map and sunscreen
- Cutlery
Fully packed
with regional delicacies
- Zillertal Heumilchkäse, spread and hard boiled eggs
- Smoked sausages and Tyrolean smoked ham
- Vegetable sticks and tomato-mozzarella-salad with balsamic dressing
- Tux joghurt with fruits and crunches as well as homemade cake made to grandma's recipe
Enough to drink
for your picnic
- 0.75l ski water are always included
- Every adult can choose between a bottle of Zillertal Beer, Zillertal Radler or Midis Lemonade as additional drink
- Children can choose between ice tea peach and cocoa
- Of course there is a Glacier-Schnaps for every adult in the backpack too.
You simply make your choice of drinks when you pick up the backpack.
In case you
bring your dog
If you would like to bring your dog he is warmly welcomed. Please tick the according box in your order and we put a delicious treat for him into the backpack as well.
What you
need to know
- The Glacier-Picnic-Backpack can be picked up at the Sommerberg restaurant (2.100 m) between 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m..
- You need to bring 100,-- Euros in cash as a security deposit for the backpack. You will get your money back when the backpack is returned.
- IMPORTANT: The backpack as well as the gear remain our property and have to be returned on the same day.
- In order for you to stay flexible you have 2 options to return the Glacier-Picnic-Backpack. You can return it at the Sommerberg restaurant where you picked it up until 4.00 p.m. or until 4.45 p.m. at the box office in valley station.
Secure
and deferential
- Food and beverages in the backpack are cooled
- We care for the environment. Therefore we use reuseable containers, washable napkins, etc.
- Please do put all garbage back in the backpack. We will happily dispose it correctly.
- We please you to respect all wildlive on the mountain. Choose your picknick-spot carefully and away from grasing animals, especially cows.
