skiing seasons and their special characteristics

Skiing at different times of the year does not mean the same kind of skiing at different times. How to understand that? Well, every season has its own special characteristics. Spring skiing ≠ Late-Spring skiing ≠ autumn skiing ≠ winter skiing. Read it yourself!

Spring

"The sunbathers"

Soaking up the spring sun belongs to spring skiing as the binding belongs to skis and snowboards – you can’t do without! The warmer temperatures in spring not only change the mood, but also the slope conditions. While the slopes are still pretty hard in the morning, they often get soft in the afternoon. In between, there is the insider tip for spring skiiers: the firn snow.

Late Spring

"The Early Birds"

Even in late spring and early summer they can't keep their feet still, or rather, they can't keep them off the slopes. They start early in the morning to take a few turns: the Early Birds. No matter what challenges the spring temperatures bring, no snow is no solution for them. Snow, powder snow, ice, soft slopes, slopes with good grip, warm temperatures, cold days: everything is included here!

Autumn

"The Athletes"

When the golden autumn descends in the valley, they can hardly wait to buckle up their skis for autumn skiing on the glacier: the "Jocks". Crunchy slopes, challenging conditions and a uniquely clear view are typical characteristics of skiing in autumn. Now is the time to prepare for winter - for our numerous training teams as well as for recreational athletes.

Winter

"The Pleasure Carvers"

Snow-covered mountains, the picturesque white landscape, cool temperatures and wide pistes await you on the glacier in winter.  As a beginner, advanced, with the whole family - it doesn't really matter how and what: In the winter months, fun on the slopes is on the program the whole day! Our training teams are now taking a break, well, a break from training: now it's race time around the globe!

2
