TT-Wandercup at Sommerberg

Get your stamp card at the valley station in Hintertux and with it the key to the discounted ascent to the Sommerbergalm hiking area at 2,100m. From there, there are two wonderful routes to choose from: the family route and the expert route in a picturesque landscape. To top it all off, a colorful entertainment program for young and old awaits you at the Sommerbergalm!

Highlights:

• The TT-Wandercup takes you to unique natural gems and viewpoints.
• Family festival from 12:30 p.m. on the Sommerbergalm with traditional live music.
• As hiking and glacier air not only make you happy, but also hungry and thirsty, we invite you to a “Zillertal delicacy buffet”.

  Hintertux Glacier valley station from 8.30 to 10.00 a.m.

• Route description family route (walking time 3h 30min, 8.5 km, ascent 515 m, descent 515 m):
  Ascent with the Gletscherbus 1 to the Sommerbergalm - crossroads Bichlalm - Schleier waterfall - Weitental - Tuxerjoch-Haus - Sommerbergalm - Family festival - descent with the Gletscherbus 1

• Route description expert route (walking time 4h 30min, 11.4 km,
  ascent 740 m, descent 740 m): Ascent with the Gletscherbus 1 to the Sommerbergalm - Kaserer Schartl - Weiße Wand - Tuxer-Joch-Haus - Weitental - Schleier waterfall - Bichlalm crossroads - Sommerbergalm - musical family festival - descent with the Gletscherbus 1.
