Nature's Ice Palace
The Natural Ice Palace has been opened to the public since 3rd November 2008. In August 2007 Roman Erler of Natursport Tirol, whilst doing a mountain tour discovered the cave by chance.
NEW!!! From summer 2011 you can make a scientific adventure tour. Every day at 10.00 am and 14.00 pm the tour takes place for minimum 5 persons. The tour takes 2 hours and costs for adults € 16,00, for children € 8,00.
Guided tours are from 9.30 am (advance notice required), 10.30 am, 11.30 am, 12.30 pm, 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm.
Meeting point is the top station of the Gletscherbus 3 lifts. Your equipment should be a hiking footwear and jacket ecommended. Tours wearing ski boots are possible. Duration approx. 1 h, entrance fee adults EUR 8,–, children EUR 4,– minimum age 8 years.
