Piste Signs:
Our pistes in Hintertux are on high Alpine terrain and to a large extent on the glacier. Please, therefore, be very careful to observe all barriers and signs. The pistes on the glacier are secured by wooden poles with ropes stretched between them. Please do not leave the marked pistes under any circumstances. Beyond from the secure skiing area, there are of course high Alpine hazards - the lift company cannot accept any liability!

Piste and Rescue Service
The Piste and Rescue Service only monitors and checks pistes that are marked and open. There are emergency notification points at all lift stations in the skiing area! The final Piste Service run takes place at 16:00. Please, therefore, adhere to the closing times indicated at the lift stations. We are equipped with RECCO avalanche rescue equipment.


Alpin5 - Paramedic rescue helicopter.
The Paramedic rescue helicopter Alpin 5 is stationed approx. 2km from Tux to provide even faster and more secure emergency rescue.
