Conquering the summit is made easy with our excellent cable railway: splendid hikes and tours above the treeline – with unimpeded views in all directions as far as the eye can see!

The wonderful mountain world of the Hintertux glacier with its majestic peaks and the gloriously fresh mountain air are just waiting to be discovered.

• Starting point Sommerbergalm, 2.100m: Bichlalm - Hintertux: easy descent via a bridle path, approx. 2 hours Tuxer Joch - Weitental - Hintertux: hike with magnificent views of waterfalls, approx. 3 hours Alpine flower trail: hike admidst protected alpine flora, approx. 1 hour Kasererscharte - Frauenwand: pleasurable circular tour between glacier ice and three thousand metre peaks, approx. 3 hours Waterfall tour: an imposing natural spectacle with thundering waterfalls, caves and gorges, approx. 2 hours
• Starting point Tuxer Fernerhaus, 2.660m: Spannagelhaus - Hintertux: past the mighty glacial moraine and through mountain pastures and meadows full of flowers, approx. 2 hours Friesenbergscharte: descent partially across glacier, approx 1 hour
• Starting point Gefrorene Wand, 3.250m: Panorama terrace on the roof of the Glacier Bus 3 station with breathtaking view of the mountain and glacier world Schlegeis viewing point: a short trek across the glacier is rewarded with a splendid view of the Schlegeis Lake
