Tuxer Joch – Weitental (Wide Valley)

This hike leads from the top station of the 1st section of the lifts at Sommerberg, along Path Nr. 324 to the Tuxer Joch-Haus.

Make your descent along Path Nr. 326 through the beautiful Weitental, with its’ luscious, green pastures and incredibly diverse vegetation. This unique high alpine flora offers a wonderful habitat for marmots and chamois. The impressive Schleier Waterfall with a drop of 40 m is certainly a high point of this alpine walk. Trail Nr. 17 leads past the Bichlalm back to the centre of Hintertux, alternately, take Path Nr. 15 through forests and fields to the base station of the glacier lifts.
