The 8-seater Sommerberg – ultra-modern, comfortable and fast
The 8-seater cablecar Sommerberg has been operating between the lower Hintertux terminal and the Sommerbergalm since November 2000 – with a travel time of only five minutes!
This new cablecar replaces the dual chairlift constructed in 1981 and increases the carrying capacity of our feeder lift to 4100 persons/hour. Our new motto is thus, comfortable non-stop transport from the underground car park to 3250 m!’.
