Glacier Bus 2

The Glacier Bus 2, the first bi-cable cablecar in the eastern Alps, has been transporting our guests from the Sommerbergalm to the Tuxer Fernerhaus since 1996.

The travel time is only six minutes, and you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view underway, fully protected from the wind and weather.

Zillertaler Gletcherbahn developed this Funitel, the first in the eastern Alps, in 1995 in collaboration with Doppelmayr. Since then, the Glacier Bus 2 has more than proved its worth!
